The Vacuumed 577B unit may be used independently or in conjunction with other electrotherapeutic treatments. The use of suction as a way of massaging the tissues brings very desirable effects. Deep and effective massaging increases the flow of blood in the skin and the tissues it, and thus reduces the resistance in the skin against the current. Therefore, when vacuum treatment is combined with other electrotherapeutic treatments a lower current may be used for the patient’s greater comfort. It will also result in the patient’s better feeling and strikingly better treatment results.



In addition to more effective results of the use of electrodes and the decrease of treatment time, accurate positioning of the electrodes would be possible by means of vacuum unit especially where normally strapping would be inconvenient.

 Water tank

Vacuumed 577B is equipped with a tank for collecting excess water from the pads. Should the amount of water in the tank exceed a certain limit a warning signal turns on and the suction operation ceases to continue. In such cases the tank must be emptied.
